10×10 Initiative is a state-wide project which aims to accelerate the integration of primary health care with mental health care, beginning with Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) services. The initiative comes from the recognition that people with serious mental illness are dying 25 years earlier than the general population – often from disorders that are inherently preventable or treatable. The goal of the 10×10 initiative is to increase the life expectancy of people with mental illness by 10 years in 10 years. Learn more about Minnesota’s 10×10 efforts toward this initiative.
