-Grace, Friendship Volunteer
“This is about getting people what they need to be well.”
-Julie, RN
“Mental illness is a hard thing to understand…We bring the topic into the open.”
-Eileen, Board Member
We are passionate, knowledgeable, and forward-thinking employees, volunteers, board members, supporters, and other involved community members with a mission of helping people with mental illness lead quality lives. We believe that people with mental illness are larger than the definition of their diagnosis. So, we partner with the individuals we serve, sticking with them through progress and set-backs, symptoms, medications, and side-effects, good days and not so good days.
We do this work because we know that with the right treatment and services, hard work, and perseverance, people with mental illness can and do get better.
We know because we experience it every day.
We are a not-for-profit (501c3) corporation governed by a Board of Directors representing the communities we serve and we are an enrolled provider with Minnesota Health Care Programs and other health plans.
And, we are an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
