Even prior to joining Guild Incorporated’s Board of Directors last year, Nik was making an impression…and an impact. As an active member of a Guild fundraising team, consisting of both staff and community members, he was an ambassador for our work – helping to spread the word about what we do.
Nik sums up his involvement like this, “I support Guild Incorporated because I believe in their mission and investing in services for people with mental illness because they are far too often underserved.”
This enthusiasm for the mission, along with his generous nature, led Nik to open up his home and personally invite other Guild donors to an appreciation celebration he hosted last summer.
These days, as a member of our board, you’ll find Nik hard at work on our Community Relations and Fundraising Committee, a group charged with engaging the community in supporting our work and building long-term, sustainable funding for our mission.
Nik supports Guild outside of his work on the board, too. Driving individuals we serve to places they need to go and greeting guests at our events are just two of the activities he’s given time to.
